All Hallow's Eve :: Original Mythical Creatures

Scary, Mythical Creatures...or, at least....you hope they're just Mythical...

1. Black Ink: If you eat a fish under a dead pind tree while you are burning a starfish when there are EXACTLY seven stars in sight a siren will come and give you one wish to kill sombody that night, but don't give her too much temper cause that person might be you if you do not kiss her for seven seconds after the deed is done.

2. Bala: My superstition concerns bad faeries. Known as the Fae, these little boogers like to create mischief on Halloween by keeping things lost that you need, such as a mask. Every Halloween I put honey in a jar just for these little troublemakers so they don't destroy any of my hard-worked costume!

3. Deviancy: If you recieve a gift on a night with no moon (not hidden, a new moon) you will die. Nothing will come to kill you, but something will happen. An accident, most likely. And if you protect yourself, then it's likely an object will be 'animated' and kill you, such as a knife. Perhaps your house will even collapse. And why? There's a story behind it:

In the past, a woman lived in a rather quaint town. There was rarely any trouble. Everyone knew each other, and such. One day, a man had moved into the town. It was mysterious, for it was rare that someone moved in. He was kind and respectable, but quiet, and rumors abounded about him. Eventually he was scorned only because of these lies, and was so isolated that he stayed in his house and became insane. He sent a giftbox to all the maidens in the town, each containing a restless spirit. It is said that, to this day, he gives out these gifts to continue handing out revenge to a world that he thought began to hate him.

4. Nekotsune: Have you ever heard of the Nekotsune? Treacherous, wicked, ferocious creatures they are! But this tale revolves around one in particular. It is supposed to be ten stories in height, imagine that! and thirty or more tons in weight. Crushed if it lands on you, for sure. Gigantic wings three times its body length, and lava spilling from its jaws like drool.

Scared yet?

Well, to make things even better, this freakish demon is supposed to come out on Halloween night if the moon glows red or orange. It flys through the dark, fathomless sky. Wings creating slight sonic-booms as it goes. Eyes nothing more then empty sockets of negative energy as it searches for prey.

This Nekotsune's diet is filled with fresh, delicious humans. It'll take anything from a babe to an elder. Not picky there. Though they say it prefers the younger ones, between the ages of ten and twenty. Youth and all.

It dives from its hideout in the blackness, picking off people one by one. Generally, it only takes about ten to fill the monstrosity up. However, it may slaughter more. Just for the fun of it.

So, if I was you, I'd be careful this Halloween. Don't step outside your door if the moon glows red, or orange, close those curtains, and pray that the Nekotsune is not nearby. Waiting. Watching. Ready to gobble you up like an owl would a mouse.

5. Dancing Cupcake: If you stay up all day/night on Halloween (From 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.) then you're soul is haunted.

6. String Cheese: Walking under a werewolf on Haloween night in furcadia means fifteen years of bad hair and a lame foot.

7. Death Bleeds Black: Mine is a simple one, but a one I feel well, Never look into a broken mirror or a shard of a broken mirror or your soul could be trapped.
